AST Publications

American Journal of Transplantation (AJT)

The American Journal of Transplantation is the joint journal of the American Society of Transplantation (AST) and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS). The aim of the AJT is the rapid publication of new high quality data in organ and tissue transplantation and the related sciences.

The journal reflects the field and is an agent for advancing it through critical reviews and news features, consensus documents and guidelines. The journal is directed at scientists and clinicians in transplantation, but also at those in other fields who wish to follow transplantation.

The AJT is part of AST membership dues for Full, Doctoral and International members. Members who are in the 2nd year of transitioning from a Trainee member to a Full, Doctoral or International member, are offered an online subscription to the AJT as part of their membership dues. Full, Non-Doctoral members, Trainee members, Year 1 Full, Doctoral, Year 1 International and Emeritus members all have the option of adding an AJT subscription to their membership. The cost is $60 for an online subscription or $120 for 12 printed issues plus online access. For members who do not subscribe to the journal, but wish to add the subscription, please contact the AST staff at info@a-s-t.org or (856) 439-9986.

In order to continue to provide the latest advances in transplantation and to provide guidance for the next generation of transplant professionals, the AST has produced two new publications.
