The AST has broadened its scope to include representation of physicians and scientists involved in the transplantation of all solid organs. Each organ specialty area is represented on the Board of Directors, the Awards and Grants Committee, the Nominating Committee, the Membership Committee, the Education Committee and the organ specific Advisory Councils.
